Here we are in the middle of spring, things look alot better than a few weeks ago however we are in a significant drought, here are a few tips on how to help your Sarasota landscape survive through drought. 1. use slow release fertilizer to keep flushes of growth to aminimum this will help keep water requirements down. 2. Water in the early morning when the wind is light and sun is down. 3. Make sure all new plants are Sarasota drought tolerant plants. 4. Run irrigation and check all components for proper water application.
