Here in Venice Florida there are a lot of irrigatied properties, and I must say most owners do not mangae them properly, what we must try to achieve is water efficient landscapes in Sarasota . Novembers check list to head in that direction is, 1. make sure system is functioning properly 2. convert tree-shrub beds to micro zones and seperate from turf zones 3. Plant drought tolerant plants. Try to remove turf and plant more beds, Sarasota responsible landscaping is all our responsibility
